Turkish side Kayserispor say they can’t wait around forever for Kris Boyd to make up his mind about a possible move to Turkey

They’ve walked the walk and talked the talk. Now Turkish side Kayserispor have said it’s time out for out of contract Rangers striker Kris Boyd to make up his mind if he wants to join them or not.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, Kayseripor boss, former Rangers player Arveladze is under pressure from his board to complete the transfer or move on to other signing targets.
Arveladze has made the out of contract ‘Gers ace who scored 26 goals last season his top signing priority.
And the Turks are willing to pay mega bucks to land their man, with a three-year deal worth £6.5n on the table should Boyd choose to move abroad.
But time is running out- and so too it would seem is Arverladze’s pateience.
Boyd broke records during his four and a half years with Gers and surpassed Henrik Larsson as the SPL's all-time greatest scorer.
Despite this, some doubt if the 26-year-old would be a success out of a Scottish comfort zone.
Despite those fears Arverladze has promised to turn Boyd into the complete striker if he agrees to put pen to paper on a deal. Boyd race hots up as runners fall away

Birmingham City are the latest club to pull out of the race for Rangers striker Kris Boyd.

The Scottish international marksman had been a transfer target for Blues boss Alex McLeish, who were the early favourites to take him to St Andrews should he decide to leave Ibrox.

Boro's local rivals Newcastle United were also understood to be keen on the former Kilmarnock striker and scorer of more than a century of goals for the Glasgow club.

However, their manager Chris Hughton has since declared 'no interest' in the 26-year-old forward who actually becomes a free agent at the beginning of next month.

Both of those withdrawals would now suggest that it will be a straight race between Boro and Turkish clubs Kayserispor and Trabzonspor to finally get his signature on a contract.

And Boro's hopes will have been further boosted by the fact that Boyd has already reportedly said that he doesn't particularly fancy a move to Turkey.

Düsseldorf (RP) Es war schon ein merkwürdiges Gefühl für Hamza Cakir, als er am Donnerstag seine Koffer packte. „Ich habe ja seit meinem 14. Lebensjahr nur für Fortuna gespielt“, berichtet der Innenverteidiger. „Das ist jetzt mein erster Transfer.“

Und der geht gleich 3300 Kilometer Richtung Südosten: Cakirs neuer Arbeitgeber ist der türkische Erstligist Kayserispor, der in der Abschlusstabelle der vergangenen Saison den achten Platz belegte. „Damit war der Verein sogar noch sehr unzufrieden“, betont der 24-Jährige. „Kayserispor ist sehr ambitioniert und finanziell gut aufgestellt, war meist unter den ersten fünf und 2008 Pokalsieger. In der neuen Saison peilen wir das internationale Geschäft an.“
Am Donnerstag Nachmittag nahm Cakir den Flieger nach Kayseri, einer 900.000-Einwohner-Stadt in Kappadokien im Zentrum der Türkei, Freitag wird er einen Drei-Jahres-Vertrag unterschreiben, am Montag ist Trainingsbeginn. „Ich freue mich sehr auf die neue Aufgabe“, sagt der gebürtige Kölner. „Kayseri ist eine sehr moderne Stadt, gilt als sauberste der ganzen Türkei. Sie trägt den Spitznamen türkisches Paris.“

Auch sportlich kann seine neue Heimat, in der er bislang noch nie war, Hamza Cakir einiges bieten. „Unser Trainer dort ist Schota Arweladse“, berichtet er, „ein Klassestürmer, der unter anderem für die Glasgow Rangers gespielt hat. Im Kader stehen einige Deutsch-Türken, und die Jungs kommen auch zum Einsatz und versauern nicht nur auf der Bank.“ Zudem ist da ja noch die brandneue Spielstätte, das Kadir-Has-Stadion - ein echtes Schmuckstück, topmodern und voll überdacht.
Seit drei Jahren schon wurde Cakir von Kayserispor beobachtet, aber zu mehr als losen Kontakten kam es bisher nicht. „Ich wollte ja immer bei Fortuna bleiben, aber nach dieser Saison ging es dann leider nicht mehr“, erklärt der Abwehrspieler. „Deshalb kam mir das neue Angebot gerade recht.“ An einer Tatsache lässt er jedoch bei aller Vorfreude auf die neue Mannschaft keinerlei Zweifel. „Im Herzen“, sagt Hamza Cakir, „werde ich immer ein Fortune bleiben.“

Kayserispor acerta com zagueiro georgiano

O Kayserispor confirmou neste sábado a contratação do zagueiro Aleksandr Amisulashvili. O jogador georgiano tinha contrato com o Spartak Nalchik até 1o de agosto, mas acertou sua saída para o clube turco. Ele assinou por duas temporadas.
Amisulashvili foi um pedido do técnico georgiano Shota Arveladze, que assumiu o Kayserispor recentemente. É o primeiro clube de Arveladze, de 37 anos, como treinador.
Alexandr Amisulashvili, de 27 anos, havia sido contratado pelo Spartak Nalchik em 2007, após uma boa temporada do defensor pelo Shinnik no Campeonato Russo. Antes ele passou por diversos clubes ucranianos. Amisulashvili já defendeu a seleção da Geórgia em 98 partidas.

NORTH EAST rivals Newcastle and Middlesbrough are set to fight it out for Rangers striker Kris Boyd.


The Scotland international will become a free agent this week after seeing out his contract at Ibrox.

Boyd's availability has alerted both Toon boss Chris Hughton and Boro chief Gordon Strachan.

Both managers need an experienced hitman and the 26-year-old forward has bagged an impressive 101 league goals in 143 starts for Gers.

Hughton will offer Boyd the chance to star in the Premier League and Strachan, who failed in a January bid, believes Boro are 12 months from a top-flight return.
Talks are due to start with Boyd this week as he readies himself to end his five-year stay at Ibrox.
Both clubs have intimated they will match the player's wage demands and the fight is a two-way one since Birmingham pulled out.
Newcastle have put a ceiling of £35,000-a-week on any new deals at the club, either for existing players or for new arrivals.
That fits for Boyd but could lead to the exit of Steven Taylor. Taylor is desperate to stay at his hometown club but has less than 12 months less on his current £35,000-a-week contract and has been offered the same terms.
He will look at his options if the offer is not improved.
